Senator Brown voted against S.Amnd. 3336, which would have provided funding for thousands of summer jobs across the country.

Senator Brown voted against the Close Big Oil Tax Loopholes Act (S. 9400), which would have eliminated billions of dollars in tax credits for Big Oil in favor of reducing our national debt.


Brown voted against the DREAM Act (H.R.5281), a bill which would have granted 65,000 immigrant youths the right to pursue the American dream through either college or the millitary service.

Brown voted against the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011(S.3454), which not only included vital funding for our troops, but also included a measure to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

Brown voted against the Continuing Extension Act of 2010 (H.R.4851), which extended vital benefits for the unemployed.

Brown voted against the health care reconcilliation bill (H.R.4872), which greatly improved the health care bill.

Brown voted against the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010 (H.R.847), which will provide extended health benefits for the heroes of September 11.
